The Finether EPI 340 is branded as an air purifier that is capable of filtering a room up to 45m³ with a CADR of 340m³/hour with 3 filters. One pre-filter, one HEPA filter, and one Activated Carbon Filter. Those 3 filters will filter out dust, pet hair, pet dander, smoke, bacteria, and pollen. The pre-filter is in charge of capturing the largest particles and extending the HEPA filter life. The HEPA filter will trap the small harmful particles and pollutants. The Activated Carbon Filter will remove formaldehyde, methylbenzene, and odors. This model has an air quality sensor that will automatically adjust the fan speed of the Air Purifier.

The Air Purifier has 4 Timers that will make it run for 1h, 2h, 4h and 8h; 3 Fan Speeds, the first speed is very quiet and you can bearly hear it working, the second speed is just as noisy as a fan and speed 3 is same and circulates a lot more air; and finally it has 3 Modes, the Sleep mode which is the equivalent of Speed 1; the Turbo mode the equivalent of speed 3; and the Auto mode which is changing the fan speed depending on the air quality detected by the onboard air quality sensor. It also has a child lock that will prevent your kids from messing around with the programs.

The air quality sensor is located on the left side of the unit and the air quality is displayed by a square LED-powered light on the front of the unit that will be green if the air quality is good, blue if fair and red if bad. You can test it by blowing air with your mouth on the sensor. It will detect a peak of CO2 and will change the color and the fan speed.

This item is brand new unused with all new unused filters. Cost of item from new €289

Also a smaller air purifier available with spare filters. This small unit was used for a small amount of time in my baby’s bedroom.
