The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Waldorf pedagogy, excellent classroom management skills, and a passion for cultivating a love of learning. As a Class Teacher, you will guide your class through their primary years, providing a nurturing and structured environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and social-emotional development. Responsibilities: - To deliver the aims and objectives of the Waldorf Curriculum in line with the Learning and Teaching Objectives of the school within each class. - To maintain administrative oversight and planning of the learning and teaching framework and implementation of the Waldorf class curriculum. - To prepare written lesson plans which include the order of main lesson blocks, goals for the students' development of academic, artistic, physical, and social skills, and weekly class schedules. - To support students in maintaining the physical environment of their classrooms - creating a place that inspires learning by giving care to the beauty, artistic aspects, cleanliness and order of the room - and for the shared school building and grounds. - To undertake additional teaching responsibilities and child supervision (arrival, recess and dismissal) duties as required. - To uphold the safety and wellbeing of students and to inspire positive relationships and teaching practice throughout the school. Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in Primary education is a must. - Certification in Waldorf teaching is required.
