Very rare! Early 20th century antiques Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik AG

A very beautiful and bright small vintage sculpture of Harlequin and Columbine, characters from the Italian commedia dell'arte. Extraordinarily realistic and exquisite, the sculpture is made of magnificent glazed porcelain and decorated with hand-painted overglaze.

According to the stamp on the bottom, the figure dates from 1900-1936.

A product of one of the most expensive and award-winning porcelain manufactories in the world, Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik AG Germany.
