We are searching for an Accountant to join our team based in Limassol, Cyprus. RESPONSIBILITIES:· Ensuring that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner· Verifying and the recording the invoices from suppliers· Recording and checking the company bank statements· Monitoring emails related to accounting department· Directly communicating and paying the suppliers and services providers as required· Checking all the banks balances in a daily basis· Conducting regular bank reconciliation· Recording and filing cash transactions· Collecting all the documents for VAT submission· Providing with all kinds of reports as per management requirements.REQUIRMENTS AND SKILLS:· Associate’s degree in related field with work experience.· Excel.· Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software, strong typing skills.· Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.· Familiarity with basic accounting principles.· Professional manner and a strong ethical code.· Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.· Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.· Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.· Administrative skills.

The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, team player, strong organization, and time management skills and highly motivated.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the accounting of a portfolio of local and international clients.Communication and resolution of any issues with clientsReconciliation of banks, creditors debtors ledgersPreparation of reports from the accounting softwareAssisting in the preparation of tax forms in Taxisnet and organising payments through the Tax Portal platform.Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES returnsEnd to end preparation of client’s payrollDocumentation and filing of accounting transactions in an organized mannerLiaison with the audit departmentRequirements3+ years of experience as an Accountant in a consulting, finance or management company having similar duties and responsibilitiesHigh School Leaving CertificateHolder of LCCI Higher in Accounting, CAT, AAT or any other equivalent qualificationsUniversity degrees will be considered an advantageExcellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken). Good knowledge of the Russian language will be considered an advantageExcellent knowledge of MS Office especially Excel and WordGood knowledge of VAT, Income Tax and PayrollGood knowledge of accounting programs – Intelisoft will be considered an advantageAttention to detail and strong numerical skills
