The most important thing about this smoke detector is the Built-In Air Compressor -because the air pump needs to pump regulated air inside (1psi) you can't use an outside compressor (e.g. a foot pump). Trust me on this one) - you can't do proper diagnosis with a foot pump or any other outside compressor.
