At present KUMON has its centres in more than 60 countries around the world where it offers its highly successful and proven method of teaching mathematics and reading, primarily to young students.In 2025 KUMON will be opening its first centre Limassol and is currently seeking to fill a part-time teaching assistant position. Qualifications required is a degree in Primary Education from a Cyprus or Greek State University.The role will be to assist the owner of the centre and, following the training provided to you by KUMON, tutor children of between 5 to 12 years old several hours a week. It is a very rewarding role where you will help students learn new skills and watch them thrive. Keeping the students focused on their work in a positive and enthusiastic environment is key. The right candidates must be reliable and have flexibility to arrange their time during the week. Must be able to work three to four days a week between 3:00pm and 6:00pm initially.The Appointment requires attendance at a 1-week Athens-based training course in January 2025. The training will be fully paid (travel and hotel). In addition, there will be a one-week online training course in February 2025.This starting position will give the right candidate a unique opportunity to join the KUMON world of education as a part-time assistant and grow to a full-time instructor and partner in the business.
