Sculpture, statue, figurine porcelain flower tulip wall mounted flower pot with
- Condition: Used
The thinnest, almost transparent, surprisingly fragile and delicate wall planter in the shape of a tulip flower is made of magnificent glazed porcelain by excellent craftsmen of the famous Japanese porcelain at the very beginning of the twentieth century. The plant pot is decorated with a delicate and realistic floral design with gold edging. The painting of the sculpture is done by hand.
Judging by the hand-painted red mark on the back of the sculpture, the 'Tashiro' 田代 porcelain sculpture dates back to 1900-1910.
Very beautiful, exquisite, incredibly delicate work.
Height 12 cm. Width 8.5 cm.
Excellent collectible condition! No acquired defects. No chips, cracks, scratches or visible defects. For a large sculpture of this age, the state of preservation is truly unique! There is slight wear to the gold plating due to the venerable age of the sculpture.
I have two of these flower pots. The price is for one.
