Rare! Antique sculpture Jardinière figure vase Elf and birds KARL ENS Volkstedt 1877-1894

Charming, delicate, truly magical, airy and sophisticated sculpture of a charming elf watching birds from his hiding place is made of magnificent bisque porcelain. Finest work. Flower petals like lace!

Judging by the blue stamp on the bottom under the glaze, this is one of the very first and earliest creations of Triebner, Ens & Eckert. Also in the test under the glaze, model number 27.

The work of one of the most expensive and titled porcelain manufactories in the world Karl Ens Germany in the period from 1877 to 1894, when the society was called Triebner, Ens & Eckert. The stamp on the sculpture refers to this very early period of the existence of KARL ENS Volkstedt.

Very beautiful, exquisite work. Hand-painted with paints in soft colors typical of original KARL ENS works in the 19th century.

Height 10 cm. Width 14 cm.

Excellent collectible condition considering such venerable age and wear! No visible defects. There may be scuffs and small chips at the tips of the petals associated with age and wear. No signs of restoration.
