ABOUT THE COMPANY

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are in search of a skilled Mechanic / Technician with hands-on experience to maintain and improve the electromechanical operations of our recycling plant. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical or mechanical systems, ensuring our machinery operates at peak efficiency and safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities will include:

Hands-on maintenance and repair of electromechanical recycling systems.

Implementation of maintenance procedures to prevent downtime.

Installation and calibration of new machinery.

Collaboration with the production team for operational excellence.

Guidance and training for plant staff on machinery handling.

Energy consumption monitoring for cost-saving and sustainability.

Adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Support in innovative technology development for process improvement.

Accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Minimum:

Relevant training or certification in Electrical/Mechanical systems.

At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience.

Fluent in English with effective communication skills.

REMUNERATION PACKAGE

Salary: €20,000-€30,000 per annum, based on experience.

Benefits: 21 days of annual leave, plus Cyprus public holidays.
