**Description**

VGC plus. BBC Recordings,1987. Box set with 13 audio cassettes including folded insert with List of the cast, bibliography of J.R.R Tolkien and b/w map. Set with 13 cassettes in original cases in VGC plus, with black illustrated case (small tear on the front of the case, small dents, scratches and nicks on the outer edges of the case, a couple of small ink marks inside the case) in VGC. Prepared for radio in 13 episodes by Brian Sibley. Adapted by Brian Sibley and Michael Bakewell.
