# Bazaraki

> Bazaraki.com is the largest classifieds platform in Cyprus.
> Users buy and sell real estate, vehicles, electronics, clothing, and other goods, as well as find jobs and services.
> The platform is available in English and Greek.

## Language structure

- Default language: English (no language prefix in URLs)
- Greek language is available under the `/el/` path prefix

## URL structure

- Category hierarchy:
  - /[category]/...
  - Nested category levels may exist beyond two levels

- Geo pages (region):
  - /[category]/.../[region]/
  - Region segments contain the marker `district`
  - Format: [region-name]-district-[city-name]
  - Example: /car-motorbikes-boats-and-parts/cars-trucks-and-vans/lemesos-district-limassol/

- Geo pages (city district):
  - /[category]/.../[city-district]/
  - City district segments identify more granular city areas
  - Example: /children-and-babies/Baby-feeding/high-chairs-seats/limassol-apostolos-andreas/
  - Example: /children-and-babies/toys/toys-outdoor/larnaka-agioi-anargyroi-ii/

- Listing pages:
  - /adv/[id]/
  - Listing pages are individual classified ad pages

- Filter structure:
  - Filters are implemented as path segments using the pattern:
    /[filter-name]---[value]/
  - Example: /color---14/
  - Example: /condition---1/

## Pagination

- Pagination is implemented using the `page` query parameter
  - Example: /car-motorbikes-boats-and-parts/?page=2

- Pagination pages represent continuation of listing results and do not contain unique content
- URLs with pagination parameters should not be treated as primary pages

## Geo pages

- Geo pages are location-specific versions of category and nested category pages
- Region pages represent district-level locations
- City district pages represent more granular locations within regions
- Geo pages may be indexed when they represent meaningful local inventory
- Do not list all geo pages in this file
- Geo pages follow the same pagination, filter, canonical, and duplicate rules as other listing pages

## Mobile version

- Mobile pages are available under the `m.` subdomain
  - Example: https://m.bazaraki.com/car-motorbikes-boats-and-parts/

- Mobile pages contain the same content as the main domain
- Mobile pages should be treated as duplicates of the corresponding main-domain pages
- The canonical version is always the main domain: https://www.bazaraki.com/
- Do not treat mobile URLs as separate primary pages

## Technical parameters

- Some URLs include technical or service query parameters that do not change the core content of the page

- Examples:
  - ?lat=
  - ?lng=
  - ?radius=
  - ?saved_search=
  - ?p=
  - ?city=

- URLs that differ only by technical parameters should be treated as duplicates of the base URL
- Technical parameters should not be used to define unique or indexable pages
- Ignore technical parameters when determining page uniqueness or canonical versions

- URLs where the same filter segment appears more than once

- URLs containing three or more filter segments
  - Example: /color---14/condition---1/brand---5/
- URLs with sorting or ordering parameters
- URLs with technical or service query parameters

## Canonical and duplicate logic

- Category and nested category pages without filters are primary

- Region pages are canonical within their regional scope
  - Example: /car-motorbikes-boats-and-parts/cars-trucks-and-vans/lemesos-district-limassol/

- City district pages are canonical within their local scope
  - Example: /children-and-babies/Baby-feeding/high-chairs-seats/limassol-apostolos-andreas/

- Pages with exactly one filter segment are valid but secondary
  - Example: /car-motorbikes-boats-and-parts/color---14/

- Pages with two filter segments are considered limited variations and should not be treated as primary

- Pages with three or more filter segments are non-canonical

- Pagination pages are duplicates of the corresponding base, geo, or filtered page

- Mobile URLs are duplicates of their corresponding main-domain pages

- URLs that differ only by pagination, sorting, technical parameters, or filter combinations represent variations of the same base entity
