Our client is a corporate solutions provider based in Limassol currently looking for a an Accountant to add to their team.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and payment management and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing payments, and ensuring the company’s financial processes are in compliance with regulations. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts.

Monitor accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.

Process invoices, manage payments, and track all financial transactions.

Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Assist in preparing for audits and collaborating with external auditors.

Provide financial support and advice to management as required.

Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

Experience with accounting software and basic knowledge of MS Excel

Ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in record-keeping.

Good Communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and processes.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Follows all employee / work regulations and company dress code. 10. Executes / undertakes any other related duties as defined by his/her supervisor. 11. Other responsibilities as defined by company procedures. Qualities: a) Accounting Studies or High School Diploma with 1 year experience in a related position. b) Good computer knowledge and usage of programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word. c) Experience in using accounting programs. d) Good Knowledge of Greek and English. e) Confidentiality, responsibility and communication/ cooperation ability.
