19th Century-Style Vintage, Italian Inlaid Wood Luxury Handcrafted Centre Table - Ιταλικό Πολυτελές, Χειροποίητο Κεντρικό Τραπέζι με Ένθετο Ξύλο σε Στυλ 19ου Αιώνα

This refined and valuable centre table, finished on all four sides, was made in Italy with a middle of 19th century style, in veneered and inlaid wood with various wood essences, including bois de rose, rosewood, boxwood and green wood.

Its square shape is finely inlaid with different essences of wood. The inlays form some geometric and floral designs. The plan is centered by a square reserve. Around, elements of classic taste are richly adorned with flowers and plant elements with the top being finished with a flower frame. The skilful use of wood species with different floral and geometric shapes and the mastery with which the inlays have been made give the decorations a pictorial aspect of great decorative effect.

On the front and under-top band, the decoration runs along the entire perimeter. The whole structure of the table is inlaid with geometric-shaped ornaments. The four legs, also rich in inlays on all sides, have an inverted pyramid trunk and end with a wooden toe.

The table follows the style of the fine cabinet-making production of the Florentine workshop of the brothers Falcini, Luigi (Campi, 1794 - Florence, 1861) and Angiolo (Campi, 1801 - Florence, 1850).

Also in this table are found the characteristics that unite the works of the workshop, such as the quality of the decoration, the dense but orderly floral inlay, the absolute precision in the cut and the combination of the various materials (light, coloured and dyed woods), often arranged on a dark background.

Extremely versatile and decorative, the table can be placed in any environment, both in the center of a room and next to a wall. It easily communicates with antique and modern furniture.

Condition: In Like New/Excellent Condition, always cared for. It also comes with a top glass layer to preserve the top surface of the table from scratches or wear.
