Sixt is looking to hire a mechanic for our fleet. As a Sixt mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our large fleet of vehicles.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Use manual and computerized diagnostic methods to identify problems in vehicles.
• Test parts to ensure they work correctly.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs.
• Replace worn or defective parts of a car.
• Service vehicles according to established maintenance schedule.
• Inspect vehicles and evaluate condition of vehicles, equipment, accessories, lights and service as needed.
• Operate tools, equipment and machinery according to prescribed safety procedures.
• Strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Help keep shop, equipment and tools in safe operating conditions.
Your Qualities:
• Secondary school diploma.
• Licence for Automotive Technicians.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to follow defined service processes.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
