We are seeking a talented and dedicated Facilities Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team and ensure the efficient and safe operation of our mechanical systems.Key Responsibilities:Design and Planning: Develop designs for new mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Select appropriate materials and equipment.Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of existing mechanical systems. Troubleshoot issues, schedule regular maintenance, and coordinate repairs.Project Management: Manage projects related to mechanical systems upgrades, installations, or replacements. Plan projects, coordinate with contractors, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor budgets and timelines.Energy Management: Implement energy-efficient practices and technologies to reduce energy consumption. Conduct energy audits, analyze data, and recommend improvements.Safety and Compliance: Ensure all mechanical systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations, adhering to safety and environmental standards.Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise to other departments and stakeholders. Train staff, answer technical questions, and offer recommendations.Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of mechanical systems, including design specifications, maintenance logs, and repair histories. Produce reports on system performance and project progress.Vendor Management: Work with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment and materials.
