Nursery teacher
We are looking for a passionate and experienced early childhood teacher to inspire young learners from non-English speaking families. Your role will involve encouraging students to explore and express ideas in daily situations through a progressive, project-based, and multicultural approach. A familiarity with the EYFS program, a positive attitude toward Reggio-inspired teaching, and a readiness to combine various methodologies are essential.
Responsibilities:
-Foster a safe, engaging, and respectful learning environment.
-Encourage student curiosity through exploration, experiments, and play-based learning.
-Develop and implement lessons using diverse teaching methods, including group work and hands-on activities.
-Establish clear expectations for behavior and discipline in line with kindergarten policies.
-Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
-Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents to ensure a supportive learning atmosphere.
-Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Pre-Primary or Nursery Education.
-KYSATS accreditation/approval.
-Fluent in English and Greek.
-Strong classroom management skills appropriate for early childhood education.
-Ability to differentiate instruction and assess learning outcomes effectively.
-Creativity, patience, and excellent communication skills.
-Experience in private kindergartens is an advantage.
