Our client is an award-winning global Contract for Difference (CFD) and forex broker, regulated by authorities in Australia (ASIC), Cyprus (CySEC), the Cayman Islands (CIMA), and Mauritius (FSC).
Our has developed a one-stop digital trading platform tailored for investors. They market data, news, and analysis, as well as trading and risk management services within a comprehensive user centric FinTech ecosystem. Serving more than three million users globally, they are accessible via various platforms such as mobile (iOS and Android), desktop applications, and web browsers.
They are currently looking to add a new member to their team. This is an individual contributor role based in their Limassol office, assisting with all IT support related functions, and troubleshooting of the company, including back-up support for other regional offices.
Job Responsibilities
Provide helpdesk administration support and computer/laptop setup, including offsite support, and serve as the first point of contact for IT support (L1/L2)
Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues in timely manner
Maintain and provide support on IT, telephone system, software and hardware equipment and provide resolution of related problems
Maintain and setup Windows/ Network Equipment
Liaise with third-party vendors and manage related service contracts
Procure and manage the company's IT assets
Assist with the deployment and maintenance of security software and tools, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to information security and office IT administration.
Requirements
Diploma or above in IT/Computing/Computer Science or related discipline
At least 2 years of relevant working experience (work experience in a similar role in a financial institution is preferred)
Proficiency in supporting and managing Apple, Windows and Google environments
Experience with computer networks, network administration and installation
Experience with Windows, Office 365, mobile devices, cloud services and other desktop application support
Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and tactfully
Excellent communication skills, time management skills – able to plan, prioritize and organize
Fluent Greek & English
Flexibility in work hours. May be required to work outside of normal office hours as operational needs
Good to have knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements, such as PCI DSS, and GDPR
