A Receptionist is the first to greet customers and visitors and is responsible for creating a positive first impression. Receptionist duties include answering telephone calls, registering customers, managing appointments and bookings, as well as managing e-mail and faxes. In addition, they provide assistance to visitors, guide them around the business premises, and provide basic information.
A Receptionist must have excellent communication and friendliness, while at the same time maintaining a high degree of discretion. She must be organized and able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Overall, her role contributes to maintaining a friendly and professional environment in the business.
