Job Profile: Sales Manager for Hotel
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and managing relationships with corporate, group, and leisure clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, retaining existing clients, and effectively promoting the hotel's offerings to increase occupancy and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue across various market segments.
Conduct regular market analysis to stay informed about competitor activities, market trends, and new business opportunities.
Work closely with the Marketing team to design promotional activities, packages, and special offers.
2. Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
Schedule regular meetings and site visits with clients to showcase the hotel’s facilities and services.
Address client inquiries, negotiate terms, and ensure that customer satisfaction is consistently met.
3. Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify potential new clients through networking, attending industry events, and leveraging various sales channels.
Create and follow up on leads, proposals, and contracts, ensuring timely responses to all client requests.
Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to develop competitive pricing and negotiate contracts.
4. Team collaboration
Work closely with the Events and Banqueting teams for seamless event planning and execution.
5. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of sales strategies and adjust as needed.
Monitor and report on competitor pricing, packages, and promotions.
6. Other Duties
Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and other promotional activities.
Ensure all sales activities comply with the hotel’s policies, brand standards, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in a hotel sales role or similar, preferably with experience in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and hotel management systems (PMS, RMS).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of revenue management and pricing strategies.
Language: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
