Junior it support specialist
The Island Private School of Limassol in Cyprus, which first opened its doors to 500 students in September 2022, is currently seeking passionate, experienced, and competent professionals to join our team.
As we grow, we are in the process of planning our new school campus on a beautiful 50,000 m2 site to be completed approximately by end of 2025, that will include kindergartens, elementary and high schools, an international boarding school, and accommodation for teachers. Now we have exciting opportunities available for a Junior IT Support Specialist (Help Desk) to provide technical support. This role will ensure smooth operations for students, teachers, and staff by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to IT equipment. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, customer-oriented, and eager to support the growing needs of a dynamic educational environment.

Working days and hours: from Monday - Friday/08:00 - 17:00
Key responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot IT equipment for students, teachers and other staff.
- Support all AV troubleshooting, Clevertouch screens, musical instruments and other related equipment.
- Assist with software installation, updates, Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software problems.
- Provide technical support for app-related issues and classroom software.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related inquiries, including iPads, computers, printers, and network issues.
- Administration of iPad devices through MDM (Apple school manager, Jamf School, Jamf Safe internet).
- Provide remote and on-site technical support as required.
- Assist students, teachers, and staff with IT equipment usage, helping them become proficient with devices and educational apps.
- Coordinate with the IT team to manage repairs, replacements, and updates.
- User account management through Windows Server Active Directory and Google Workspace Admin
- Work with all IT related suppliers to assist in support activities where necessary.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledgeable with iOS devices (iPads), Macbooks and Microsoft Windows computers.
- Good networking skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve basic technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of classroom technology and educational apps is a plus.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Greek or Russian is an advantage.
