Rare! This is an exquisite antique porcelain sculptural pair of an elegant young man in traditional 19th century national dress and a charming young girl with a basket of ripe grapes in her hands. The figurines are decorated with carefully thought-out enamel painting, typical of the period in which it was made. Hand painted. The rich, bright colors of the painting of the clothes emphasize the traditional 19th century clothing worn by the young couple.

The young man is dressed in a luxurious outfit decorated with flowers. He holds a hat in his hands. The girl's attention is focused on a large basket of grapes, each berry of amazingly rich, realistic color.

The quality of each figurine is exceptional, with finely detailed eyes, fingers, berries and the finest leaves of the grapes in the girl's basket, flowers and leaves at the feet of the young man. This magnificent sculptural couple, entirely hand-painted, features exquisite lines of fabric and a finely detailed face that appears almost lifelike, reflecting the artist’s dedication and skill.

The superb painting is complemented by intricate floral patterns and gilding. Underglaze markings on the base of the young man confirm the stated period of creation from 1894 to 1899, and the base is stamped with the numbers 16 5992 9 and the number 37 in gold overglaze. Underglaze markings on the base of the girl are stamped with the number 5992, confirming that the two figures are a sculptural couple.

The figurine of the young man has a chip on the end of the little finger. Not noticeable visually. Only visible with a magnifying device. Otherwise, excellent collectible condition with no signs of restoration.

The figurine of the girl has no damage or signs of restoration.
