Job Description: We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience from the moment they arrive until they depart. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
Handle phone calls, emails, and online reservations.
Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and promptness.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Assist in managing guest bookings and updating the hotel reservation system.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
Uphold the hotel's standards of service and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role will be plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using computer systems and reservation software.
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A friendly and professional attitude.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
