I have vast experience performing Home Watching for remote large properties and mansions and preparing the properties for the owners arrival, managing all practical issues like cleaning, shopping, gardening etc. My clients are living abroad most of the year and visit their properties occasionally and they want to keep their properties in the same condition as they left it.

I am a civil engineer and have extensive experience in the construction sector, having vast expertise to identify faults and malfunctions and to keep a property running safely.

If this service is unfamiliar to you, a Home Watch service inspector performs scheduled inspections of unoccupied or vacant properties while the owner is away for long or shorter periods of time.

These inspections include a basic check of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as the overall condition of the home and property. A Home Watch inspector will look at the house or apartment or office with a trained eye, making sure that everything is satisfactory. They look for leaks, pests and mold, all of which can be present in homes left alone for even the shortest interval.

The inspector will sent the owner a detailed checklist from each visit. Should the inspector find an issue or potential problem, he/she will immediately notify the homeowner. From there, the homeowner will instruct how they want to proceed. Just by removing junk mail and flyers and creating a presence in the home, Home Watching adds a level of security to the vacant property. Home Watch is the line of communication to the homeowner that provides peace of mind during their absence.

While you are unable to physically attend to your property, a Home Watcher can be your local contact, your advocate and your trusted resource that you can count on to care for your valued property as you would.

Services can also be used by New Buyers to check the condition of the property, Rental Owners, etc.

Fee is based on size of property, location and how frequent the client wants the Home Watcher to visit. (for a near town property up to 200M2, fee is 50e per visit.)
