Use it, but don't abuse it.
Bazaraki.com costs nothing to use (even companies can advertise for free) and it always will be.
We understand that with more than 1600 people checking out the website every day, everyone wants their advert on the homepage without paying. But please resist the temptation to create double, triple, quadruple adverts for THE SAME ITEM....
However much we like the site to be full, it is not nice to browse through. Failure to respect this policy will get you blocked.
At the end of the day we also have bills to pay and mouths to feed.
Please respect that.
Upgrading to a Featured Advert is only 4,50 Euro.
Look at all the hits they get, it is well worth the tiny investment of going to My Ads.

If you can, try and use non-polish email addresses. Polish internet providers block the activation emails for some reason. Please contact them and ask them to white list emails from webmaster@bazaraki.com. We have done so many times, but we still get many failure delivery's back. Other foreign countries do not have this problem.

San Jose, California and Limassol, Cyprus April 1, 2011 - eBay, the World's Online Marketplace (Nasdaq: EBAY; www.ebay.com), today announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Bazaraki.com (www.bazaraki.com), the leading classifieds website in Cyprus which is about to launch its web portal in Greece. eBay intends to purchase Bazaraki.com from its current owners. The acquisition would allow Bazaraki.com to grow its business both in Cyprus as well as in Greece through the investment and online trading expertise of eBay. eBay will be able to expand its e-commerce position in South Eastern Europe while adding to its growing knowledge of classifieds-style trading. eBay plans to continue to operate Bazaraki.com as a separate business.

This option will put your advertisement on the homepage for a week. Bazaraki.com receives more than 1000 unique visitors PER DAY (and is still growing), so you are guaranteed to see the hits increase. The price is only 4,50 Euro per week and well worth it. All major credit cards are accepted.
Placing your advert is also possible for longer than a week. This has not yet been integrated into "My Ads" but payments can still be done via PayPal or bank transfer. Just contact marketing@bazaraki.com for details. The rates are 8 Euro for 2 weeks. 12 Euro for 3 weeks. 15 Euro for 1 month or 25 Euro for 2 months.
2) Promoted
This will highlight your advert to a bright yellow colour in the category and make it jump out immediately from all the other adverts. Your ad will stay highlighted for as long as it is online. So ALSO if you were to automatically renew it. The cost is 4,50 for a lifetime and all major credit cards are accepted. This feature is great in combination with a BumpUP.
3) BumpUP
This option moves your advert to the top of the list so that people clicking on the main category will see it first. It will also appear on the homepage again under "Latest Adverts". It can be purchased whenever you want your advert back at the top again. Th e cost is 3,99 and all major credit cards are accepted. This feature is great in combination with the Promoted option.

We have cleaned up the category Animals and created new categories for Fish, Cats, Horses and Animals for sale/free other than dogs (such as tarantula, deers, iguana's and parrots).

We have been made aware of a new scam. Advertisers are contacted by text message (usually a UK +44 number). They are then sent an email with a (fake) PayPal payment or Western Union payment. The advertiser is then asked to send the shipping costs to an agent/third party. This is of course your own money, since the actual payment was never made in the first place.
Buying and selling through the Internet is safe, cheap and a lot of fun. It is however important to use your common sense. Be careful if you are offered more than your asking price, if the potential buyer is located abroad, or if someone pays with a cheque (it takes a few days for the bank to clear the cheque). We advice you to never use Western Union, HSBC bank, BidPay or MoneyGram if you are doing business with an unknown party.
We also advise you to not ship your goods abroad!

If somebody sends you a cheque from abroad, or for more money than your asking price - wait at least 21 days - until you have confirmation from your bank that the payment has been taken out of their account and into your account, before returning or passing on the surplus amount. The cheque may be false. Click here to check out other possible scams.
Should you receive "dubious" emails, please forward them to us so that those users can be blocked.
"Can(va)s for Kids"

Around sixty students of Years 1 and 2 at The Heritage Private School, have raised 520 Euros for the charity Cans for Kids, in collaboration with Bazaraki.com. The money will be donated to the Makarios Hospital in Nicosia, which is the central paediatric hospital treating seriously ill children from all over the island. The students raised the money following the example of a six-year-old classmate who sold her paintings through Bazaraki.com to raise money and awareness for recycling and sick children. For the art/computer/science/environmental studies project "Can(va)s for Kids" the students all received a presentation from Cans For Kids about the importance of recycling for the environment. Then, each child made a painting on a canvas of 30x30cm and auctioned it off hrough http://www.bazaraki.com//.

It has come to our attention that somebody claiming to be a representative of Bazaraki.com has been contacting advertisers by telephone that have placed an ad on Bazaraki.com. It is our understanding that this person is requesting money in order for the advertisers ad to be renewed or upgraded.
We want to emphasize that using Bazaraki.com is FREE!
This person is damaging the reputation of bazaraki.com and his/her acts should be considered as committing a criminal offence and we are considering taking legal or other action.
If you have been contacted by someone claiming to be a representative of Bazaraki.com and is asking money for renewing/upgrading your existing ads, kindly inform us immediately by email on info@bazaraki.com. Your assistance would be much appreciated!
